Day-use — renting accommodation for part of a day, without an overnight stay — is common practice in major cities. In French Guiana it simply did not exist in any structured form. Yet this is the territory where it makes the most sense: a single airport, long-haul flights concentrated into a few slots, late departure times, and nearly 9 hours of flying to Paris.

The wait between check-out and your flight

This is the most common case by far. Flights to mainland France usually leave in the evening or overnight from Félix-Éboué airport in Matoury. Between an 11am check-out and 8pm check-in, there is a full day to fill — with luggage, tired children, and nowhere to shower before nine hours in the air. Three to six hours of accommodation transform the end of a trip.

Early arrival before an appointment

The pricing is straightforward, with no surprises:

3-hour base package: €55, for the entire flat.
Cleaning fee: €35 per turnover, added to the package.
Longer slots: extendable in further blocks, priced at booking depending on the property and the season.

Rates vary by property, commune and period: the dry season from July to late November, carnival and launch campaigns at Kourou are the busiest windows.

Give us the date, the arrival time and the desired departure time. We confirm availability at the property closest to your base — the airport, central Cayenne, or the Rémire-Montjoly coast. Direct booking carries no platform fees.

Distances to know

Félix-Éboué (Matoury) → central Cayenne: 15 to 20 minutes.
Félix-Éboué → Rémire-Montjoly: around 20 minutes.
Cayenne → Kourou: about 1 hour (60 km).

Busy slots

On departure days towards mainland France, everyone’s stay ends at the same hours. During the dry season (July to late November), carnival and launch campaigns, book your slot ahead rather than on the morning itself.

What to do with the rest of the day

Can I book a slot on the same day?

Subject to availability, yes, but it is not the best approach. Departures towards mainland France cluster around the same hours, and daytime slots are in particular demand during the dry season (July to late November), carnival and launch campaigns at Kourou.
